This iconic instrument was the first model that Paul Reed Smith brought to the public at the Winter NAMM show in 1985 and has been a top seller ever since. Played by international touring artists, studio musicians, and aspiring players, today’s Custom 24 features PRS’s patented Gen III tremolo system, Phase III Locking Tuners and PRS 85/15 pickups.
The Custom 24’s 85/15 pickups were personally designed by Paul Reed Smith for exceptional clarity and extended high and low frequency response. A 5-way blade switch provides a wide combination of single-coil and humbucking sounds.
The PRS Custom 24 offers models with Pattern Regular and Pattern Thin neck carves, as well as Rosewood or Katalox fretboards. All standard Custom 24s feature Mahogany bodies and necks with carved, figured Maple tops. You can also choose from Moore Guitars Exclusive Wood Library or Private Stock offerings for more exotic tops and wood combinations hand selected by the Moore Guitars staff.
