Although not manufactured in the USA, every aspect of the SE line is designed and QC'd by the Paul Reed Smith team in Maryland. The classic PRS models are available, such as the Custom 22 and the Custom 24, both with their iconic figured maple tops and bird inlays, and if you're left-handed, PRS offers a Custom 24 "lefty" just for you! Many artists have come to appreciate the SE series and have found them gig ready, with a few actually working with Paul Reed Smith to design signature models, artists such as Carlos Santana, Mark Tremonti, Chris Robertson, Mark Holcomb, and Zach Myers. In the summer of 2019, the PRS SE Paul's Guitar made it's debut. Featuring a PRS stoptail bridge, a wide fat neck profile and the "S" version of Paul's new TCI (Tuned Capacitance and Inductance) pickups, this new addition has been eagerly anticipated and has no doubt raised the bar for how much electric guitar can be acquired for such an affordable price. With the exception of "Standard" models, the SE guitars all come with a very nice, padded PRS gig bag.
