In 1961, Gibson’s Les Paul guitar was revamped into an all-mahogany, double cutaway version that would eventually be called the SG. This Custom Shop reissue of the 1963 Les Paul Custom hardtail pays tribute to the final year this body shape would have Les Paul’s signature attached. An authentic 60s neck carve and Custombucker Alnico III pickups ensure this Custom Shop creation duplicates the sound and playability of the original classic.
