What is a “Catch” Guitar?
Each year at the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Show in Anaheim, CA, Taylor Guitars hosts its top dealers to unveil a select group of exceptionally crafted, limited-edition guitars. The initial meeting place was the Catch Restaurant, however that location closed a few years ago, so they moved to the Rooftop of The VIV, however the Catch name stuck - hence these rare instruments, continue to be known as "Catch" guitars, and they showcase Taylor’s finest craftsmanship and innovation.
Custom GA #43: Once a year, Taylor Guitars features a special event for all authorized Taylor Guitar dealers at the NAMM Show (National Association of Music Merchants) in Anaheim, Ca. where they show off some very unique and special guitars made specifically for show attendees. These guitars are normally limited to anywhere from 5-50 total units, and are all "made to order".
