Custom #34: Crafted for both visual and sonic warmth, this custom Grand Auditorium represents an elegant expression of Taylor’s detail-oriented craftsmanship. It boasts a beautiful set of hand-selected Indian rosewood for the sides and three-piece back, which is accented by a flamed maple wedge. With the torrefied Sitka spruce top, players can expect a played-in, balanced tone profile with lush overtones and clear, sparkling highs. The wood-focused appointment package includes a single-ring flamed maple rosette with maple/black purfling, Hook and Latch fretboard inlays in boxwood, maple body and soundhole binding, an ebony peghead veneer and heel cap, and maple/black top purfling and edge trim. A Wild Honey Burst stain for the top and backstrap, along with a full-body gloss finish, accentuates the natural beauty of all three tonewoods. This build features ultra-precise Gotoh 510 tuners in antique gold, ES2 electronics, an onboard TaylorSense unit and a brown deluxe hardshell case.
